Lead Software Engineer

What You’ll Be Doing:

Provide key input on architectures and best engineering practices

Develop and improve complex UI and backend features
Create and refine your designs in collaboration with product owners, managers, and peers

Take a full ownership of features that team supports – design, develop, test, deploy and monitor

Mentor junior engineers and help others with your thoughtful feedback

Represent our team’s technical strategies across teams and to senior leadership

Requirements:

Passionate about design and architecture while remaining customer focus and adhere to agile principles of incremental delivery of value to customers.

Experienced in building scalable distributed systems.
A great leader! Think long term and take calculated risks to lead the team and projects to success.

Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Bring a positive atmosphere and open to new ideas and growth.

Fast learner. Able to quickly ramp up on new technologies.

Excellent development skills with Java and React.

Highly Technical. You love writing things that “just work” – things that are robust, scalable, and that perform well. You have a strong understanding of software architectures relevant to multi-tier client applications.

Experienced. 10 years of experience in software engineering or equivalent. CS degree or equivalent experience. Includes experience with both Frontend and Backend languages and technologies. Service background is a plus.
